Fargo’s historic sites, monuments featured in library’s history hunt project

The Fargo Public Library is once again inviting residents of all ages to learn more about the history of Fargo with an informational scavenger hunt as part of its “Imagine Your Story” Summer Reading Program. This year’s Fargo History Hunt features 17 of Fargo’s historical sites, monuments and markers for participants to discover and runs through August 15. All history-related destinations are located outdoors.
To participate, request and pick up a map at any Fargo Public Library location using the library’s no-contact curbside pick-up service. Participants can also download and print a map from the library’s website (www.fargolibrary.org). Next, participants can follow the trail to 17 of Fargo's historic sites and markers to find answers to questions about each site. Once the questions have been answered, return the completed questions to the library to be entered into a grand prize drawing. Take selfies at the locations and tag the library on social media (#FargoHistoryHunt) to earn yet another entry into the grand prize drawing. All ages are invited to participate. One entry per person. For details, contact Librarian Cindy Mason at the Children’s Services Desk at 701.241.1495 or email kidsatfargolibrary [dot] org
