Fargo Police make riot-related arrests

 

Over the course of the past two days, seven arrests have been made in relation to Saturday’s protest turned riot in downtown Fargo.

On Tuesday, the Metro Area Street Crimes Unit made two arrests.

Abdimanan Bana Habib, 21 years old, of Fargo, was arrested for arming rioter, which is a Class B felony. Habib is currently in the Clay County Jail awaiting extradition. A juvenile was also arrested for Felony Criminal Mischief and is in the Juvenile Detention Center.

Today, five more individuals were arrested: Chelsie Leann Eggers, 27 of Fargo, was arrested for Arming Rioter; Andrew Paul Uglem, 26 of Fargo, was arrested for Arming Rioter and Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Mischief, also a Class B Felony; Tuyisenge Santi, 24 years old of Fargo, was arrested for Arming Rioter and Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Mischief x2; and two juveniles were arrested for Armed Rioting and Conspiracy to commit criminal mischief.

After today's arrests, 17 arrests have been made in connection to Saturday night's riot.
