Fifth Avenue West lane closure begins Monday, June 22

The eastbound lane of Fifth Avenue West on the west side of Sheyenne Street will close a small section Monday, June 22, through Tuesday, June 23, pending weather conditions. The closure will take place near the corner of 502 Sheyenne Street to accommodate work on a gas main. While the road will be reduced due to the closure, traffic will still be able to move in both directions on Fifth Avenue W.

Motorists should expect periodic congestion and delays in the work zone, especially during the morning and evening commutes and should adjust their travel plans. Always use the ‘S’ check when traveling in and around construction areas – check your speed, space and stress.
