The National Weather Service says there’s a chance of severe thunderstorms throughout the afternoon into tonight. The thunderstorms will be embedded within a larger area of rain showers that will move through eastern North Dakota, northwestern and parts of west central Minnesota today into tonight.

The main threat is hail up to an inch-and-a-half and wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour across parts of eastern North Dakota and the Red River Valley.
