U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Office of Rural Development (RD) awarded the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa a grant totaling $3,389,800.
This Water and Waste Disposal Grant will be used to make essential infrastructure improvements to the water treatment plant in Belcourt County. The Bureau of Reclamation and the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa provided a combined $3,158,966 in additional funds to complete the plan. Click here to learn more about the project.
