Hoeven: Judiciary Committee Approves Dallas Carlson's Nomination to be U.S. Marshal for District of North Dakota

Senator John Hoeven today announced that the Senate Judiciary Committee has approved Dallas Carlson’s nomination to serve as the U.S. Marshal for the District of North Dakota. Carlson currently serves as the director of the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation (NDBCI), a position he has held since 2011.

“Dallas Carlson has the right experience and background to serve as U.S. Marshal for North Dakota and we appreciate the Senate Judiciary Committee advancing his nomination to the full Senate,” said Hoeven. “As the head of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and with more than 35 years working in various aspects of law enforcement, Dallas is the right person to serve as U.S. Marshal. We look forward to advancing his nomination through the full Senate as soon as possible.”
