A westbound lane of Main Avenue East near Fourth Street East and Fifth Street East has been closed for repairs due to a buckled road. Motorists are being merged into the remaining westbound lane in that area. The road is anticipated to reopen Thursday, July 9, pending weather conditions. Motorists in this area may encounter congestion and delays during the morning and evening commutes and should adjust their travel plans accordingly. Authorities advise drivers to check speed, space and stress when traveling through construction areas.
