ND Health Department Opens Application Period in Grand Forks and Williston Regions for Medical Marijuana Program

The North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) is accepting applications for entities interested in obtaining a registration certificate to operate a dispensary in the Grand Forks and Williston regions under the North Dakota Medical Marijuana Program. Applications will be accepted through October 10, 2018 at 3 p.m. central time.

In January, the NDDoH will open applications for the four remaining regions – Devils Lake, Dickinson, Jamestown, and Minot. An applicant must determine which region(s) they will be applying for. The same legal entity may apply in multiple regions but can only hold one registration certificate under the Medical Marijuana Program.

A panel will review all complete applications. Complete instructions and application forms are available on the division’s website www.ndhealth.gov/MM/. A $5,000 nonrefundable application fee is required with all submitted applications.

The review panel for the first round of dispensary applications (Bismarck/Mandan and Fargo regions) will meet on September 14 to review and score each complete application. The highest scoring applicant in each of the regions is eligible for registration through the NDDoH.
