2020 US Hockey Hall of Fame game relocating to Grand Forks

The 2020 US Hockey Hall of Fame Game, originally scheduled for October 17 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., has been postponed and moved to October 30, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Because of the pandemic, the 2020 game will now be played on the same date, except the location will change—the game will be played at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks. The 2020 opponent has not been announced; Penn State will be the 2021 opponent, squaring off in front of a sold-out crowd in Nashville.

“Everything that was planned to be a part of the 2020 event weekend will still happen, it will all just happen a year later than was originally planned,” Ralph Engelstad Arena General Manager Jody Hodgson says.
