On Friday, July 31 at 4:43 p.m., Fargo Police, Fargo Fire and FM Ambulance responded to a head-on crash in the 4300 block of 7th Avenue North that resulted in two fatalities.
During their investigation, it was determined that Nathaniel Sean Wilson, 30 years old of West Fargo, was driving westbound on 7th Avenue North at a high-rate of speed and crossed into the eastbound lane, colliding with a vehicle driven by Thomas Robert Edmunds, 49 years old of Fargo. Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene, and Edmunds was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Based on witness statements and other evidence, it appears that Wilson intentionally crashed into Edmunds’ vehicle. The two men did not know each other, and this was not a case of road rage.
Further investigation will be done to determine more details about the crash.
