Hoeven Announces More Than $9.7 Million for Bismarck Airport

Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Committee, Tuesday announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded more than $9.7 million to the Bismarck Municipal Airport to rehabilitate Runway 13/31. Today’s funds are in addition to the more than $2.2 million awarded to the airport earlier this month.

“The ongoing work to rehabilitate and re-build the runway at the Bismarck airport will ensure the safety of those using the airport and enable the airport to continue to serve the community,” Hoeven said. “Today’s funding supports this important project and will continue to help spur economic development and growth.”
