A 36-year-old Frazee, Minn., man was injured Friday night in an accident on I-94 in Fargo.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 2017 Freightliner truck, driven by 45-year-old Johnathan Bielke, of Mankato, Minn., was eastbound on I-94. A 2000 Suzuki motorcycle, driven by 36-year-old Robert Ziegler, of Frazee, Minn., was entering I-94 eastbound at the on ramp located at mile marker 349, which is the 45th Street interchange.
At the bottom of the ramp, the Suzuki struck the trailer of the Freightliner, causing the driver to lose control and lay the motorcycle down on its side.
The driver of the Suzuki was transported to Essentia Hospital for treatment of his injuries sustained in the crash. Bielke was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
