Man Killed at Fargo McDonalds

 

The Fargo Police Department is investigating a homicide at the McDonalds location at 905 Main Avenue.

According to a news release, the incident occurred at 5:33 a.m. Sunday at the fast food restaurant. Once on scene, officers located a male, in his twenties, with multiple gunshot wounds laying in the parking lot at McDonalds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers and investigators began looking into the incident, and determined that the victim, whose name has not yet been released, was sitting on a curb next to the building, when a dark blue or black Chevy Trailblazer entered the parking lot at a high rate of speed.

It is believed that the driver pulled up next to the victim, and shot the victim several times. After being shot, the victim got up, ran westbound in the parking lot, collapsing after a short distance.

The suspect drove out of the parking lot and continued eastbound on Main Avenue.
