Is a New School Coming to Moorhead?

West Fargo isn't the only local school district talking about a new high school.  Moorhead Schools Superintendent Brandon Lunak tells WZFG News that his district is also discussing a new facility.  Lunak tells the Need To Know Morning Show that a facilities task force had its first meeting last week. The district's long term plan, to be executed by 2025 calls for either an expansion to the current building or building a second high school.  Lunak says the challenges for a second facility are money-related, and that it would cost about $9 million annually to run a second site, plus the city's infrastructure is not well developed in the areas where the population has been growing.  This would result in additional development costs for the school district.  Lunak says a decision is expected in February.
