UPDATE: Xcel Energy reports multiple power outages

5:24 p.m. update: Xcel Energy reports the original outages have now been restored. As of 5:20 p.m., two other outages are affecting limited customers - one in the area of 28th Street North and the other in the area of 10th Street North. Both of these are anticipated to be restored around 8 p.m. this evening.

1:07 p.m. update: Three outages remain, according to Xcel Energy.

Earlier reports were that more than 3,000 customers were impacted. As of 1 p.m., just over 100 customers remained without power, Xcel Energy said.

ORIGINAL STORY: Xcel Energy is reporting multiple power outages in the Fargo-Moorhead metro.

According to an outage map, three outages have been reported, impacting a total of 3,069 customers.

Outages in the area of 13th Avenue South, Main Avenue and 19th Street North are anticipated to be restored at 12:45 p.m. An area near 5th Street North, as well as Elm Street North, is anticipated to be back online at 1 p.m.

The largest outage reported is affecting 3,066 customers and is in the area just west of 15th Street North. Crews expect that to be restored at 12:15 p.m.
