West Fargo Fire Department responds to early morning rollover accident

 

At 7:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 16, 2020, the West Fargo Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle rollover accident on the Veterans Boulevard bridge over Interstate 94. This accident involved an ambulance from Grant-Roberts Ambulance Service, based in Sisseton, South Dakota. 

A West Fargo fire engine was in the vicinity at the time of the crash and arrived on scene within minutes. West Fargo firefighters and police officers worked to extricate the original patient who was being transported and the three medical personnel involved. Four patients were transported from the scene to a hospital.

This was the third call for motor vehicle collisions this morning in West Fargo, all were along the I-94 corridor. Mutual aid from West Fargo Rural Fire also responded to collisions at Sheyenne and I-94 during this incident.

“We want to remind residents to drive slowly and be cautious of others while on the roadways,” said West Fargo Fire Department Chief Dan Fuller.
