Briefing to be Held for Cass County Ballot Measure

At 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Cass County elected officials including Commissioners, Sheriff Paul Laney and other local law enforcement and emergency response personnel will brief the public and local media about a ballot item Cass County voters will consider on Election Day, November 6th. The briefing will be in the Commission Meeting Room of the Cass County Courthouse, 211 S. 9th Street, Fargo.

Voters will consider a ½ cent sales tax that, if approved, will take effect April 1, 2019 and remain in place for a maximum of one year.  Revenue generated by the sales tax will fund the cost of an upgrade to the 9-1-1 emergency radio dispatch system utilized in Cass County.
