Fargo Public Library to host virtual NASA event for children Oct. 22

Children ages 5 and older are encouraged to register for “What’s New with NASA?” a live, virtual presentation featuring NASA Education Specialist Steven Smith, to find out about current and future missions and learn what scientists and engineers hope to accomplish over the next few years with the space program. The event is set for Thursday, Oct. 22, starting at 11 a.m. Exciting new missions are taking place within the U.S. space program, and much more is in store. In fact, NASA predicts that 2021 will be one of their busiest years. Questions are encouraged and may be submitted in advance by emailing kidsatfargolibrary [dot] org, or join in the chat on the day of the presentation. Pre-registration is required for the free program and can be done online at www.fargolibrary.org/kids.
