Burgum, Fargo City Leaders to Discuss Main Street Initiative

 

Fargo City Commissioners, business leaders, community organizations and students will participate in a meeting with North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum on the Main Street Initiative, on Friday, October 5.  The meeting will be a listening session with a group of about 20 invited community members on the following three pillars of the Initiative:

  • Healthy Vibrant Communities
  • A 21st Century Workforce
  • Smart Efficient Infrastructure

In addition to the participants in the listening session, there is ample seating available for the public.   Governor Burgum and Mayor Mahoney will be available to answer questions from the media following the meeting, which will be in the “old” City Commission Chambers beginning at approximately 10 a.m. and ending at approximately 11:30 a.m.  Parking is available between the Library and the Civic Center, in addition to the parking lot south of the new City Hall.
