Fargo Fire officials now say that a December 5 fire, located at 1418 1st Avenue North, was started in a room near the center of the building.
According to Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson, of the Fargo Fire Department, the cause of the fire, however, remains undetermined. He says the building was equipped with a fire sprinkler system. However, the fire sprinkler system was not properly maintained and had been shut off for some time prior to the fire.
Approximately $205,000 worth of damage is estimated.
