The following news release is from the Moorhead Police Department:
On January 10th, 2020, at 2:28 pm, Officers responded to 1202 34 Avenue South on a stabbing report. Upon arrival, the officers located an adult female with multiple stab wounds, which appeared to be life-threatening. The victim was transported to Essentia for treatment. Her current condition is unknown at this time.
The male suspect, who is not being identified at this time, was located a short time later. He also required treatment due to self-inflicted actions and was transported to Sanford.
The is no current threat to the public. This investigation is ongoing, and no further information will be released at this time.
