Cramer Announces Endorsement by Medal of Honor Recipient Clint Romesha

Today, Medal of Honor recipient Clinton ‘Clint’ Romesha announced his endorsement of Kevin Cramer to be North Dakota’s next Senator citing Cramer’s record of support for active military and veterans.

“From the first time I met Kevin, I felt he was a very genuine person,” Romesha said. “The biggest thing is just that he gets things done. Too many of our politicians say they support the military and our vets, take some pictures, and move on.  But, Kevin has been the real deal for us.”

“I am deeply honored to have the endorsement of a Medal of Honor recipient and a true hero,” said Kevin Cramer. “He is a real-life Captain America.”

Romesha cited Cramer’s work on the National Defense Authorization Act that resulted in the largest pay increase to active military members in the last nine years.  For veterans, Romesha said Cramer’s work on the VA Mission Act has been very important for North Dakota.  The Act strengthens and improves the Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare system for the benefit of the nation’s veterans and requires the VA to grant veterans access to health care in the private sector if it determined to be necessary.

Clint Romesha is a veteran of the United States Army who earned a Medal of Honor as a Staff Sergeant for his brave efforts during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
