Fargo Library to Host Author Christine Seifert June 26

Join Fargo native Christine Seifert for a presentation and discussion of her book, “The Factory Girls: A Kaleidoscopic Account of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire” Tuesday, June 26, at 7 p.m. at the downtown Main Library. Seifert will share her research regarding the tragic 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire that resulted in the deaths of more than a hundred young people, mostly immigrant girls. That fire led to the development of safety regulations to protect factory workers. A book signing will follow the event; books will be available for purchase.
