President Trump Makes Closing Pitch for GOP

On the eve of Election Day, President Donald J. Trump made a closing Get Out The Vote pitch to supporters in pivotal districts and states around the country. The President addressed the audience of approximately 200,000 Trump supporters in an exclusive, telephone town hall meeting titled "One Vote to Victory" hosted by the Trump Campaign this morning.

The participants, who were invited to the meeting through a sophisticated, outbound call recruitment system allowing them to opt in to the meeting by phone, were selected because they were identified as first-time voters or had returned to the polls for the first time in years to vote for Donald Trump in 2016.

Prior to President Trump’s remarks, Lara Trump, Senior Advisor to Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. and the President’s daughter-in-law, hosted a pre-program, which included remarks by House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, and interviews with RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, President Trump’s son Eric Trump, and the Campaign Manager for Donald J. Trump for President, Inc., Brad Parscale.

“While President Trump has demonstrated his total commitment to GOP victories in the midterm elections, he wanted to connect one last time before Election Day with his supporters to urge them on a personal level to get out and vote tomorrow,” said Lara Trump. “Hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters in key districts and states around the country heard directly from President Trump that their one vote matters now more than ever. The President asked them to get out and vote for GOP candidates and to help him lead the GOP over the finish line to victory tomorrow. It’s their chance to show their support for President Trump once again by getting out to vote!” she concluded.
