Stenehjem Wins Attorney General Race

 

Incumbent Attorney General in North Dakota, Wayne Stenehjem, has won the re-election bid in the 2018 election.

Stenehjem defeated Democratic challenger David Thompson by nearly 108,000 votes, with 403 of 424 precincts reporting early Wednesday morning.

Stenehjem was first elected Attorney General in 2001, and is the longest serving Attorney General in North Dakota history. This is his fifth re-election.
