Mayville Nursing Home Hosts Veterans Day Events

Luther Memorial Home in Mayville hosted a Veterans Day program Monday, honoring veterans who live in the facility and in its attached assisted living apartments.

Rebecca Hodgson, Traill County Veterans Service Officer, was one of two keynote speakers. Hodgson and Larry Young, who served in Vietnam, both spoke on the history of Veterans and Armistice Day. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the end of Word War I.

Ron Jacobson, owner of Jacobson Studios in Mayville, had a display of several Veterans’ photos for all who attended the event.
