Pair Charged in Connection to Missing Persons Case

 

Multiple news outlets are reporting that 39-year-old Jason Douglas Jensen and 34-year-old Kayla Louise Westcott are now being charged in connection with a missing persons case from Wahpeton. Westcott and Jensen are each charged with a felony count of second-degree aiding and abetting murder with intent, but without premeditation. They appeared in Clay County District Court on Monday. Westcott and Jensen were originally detained as persons of interest in the disappearance of Troy Edmund Yarbrough, whose remains were found on a farmstead near Hitterdal, Minn. Both Westcott and Jensen are being held on $2 million bail for unconditional release, and $1 million bail for conditional release. They will appear in Clay County District Court on Friday, July 6 at 10 a.m.
