Moorhead Woman Arrested On Suspicion of Attempted Murder

 

22-year-old Allyssa Ginger, of Moorhead, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, following a Sunday morning incident where Ginger allegedly tried to run over her ex-boyfriend.

According to multiple media reports, Fargo Police were dispatched at 9:25 a.m. Sunday to Scheels Home and Hardware on 13th Avenue South, to a domestic disturbance, after the caller observed a woman trying to run over a man with a vehicle. Ginger had left the scene before officers arrived, but was later found and arrested in Moorhead on suspicion of attempted murder and driving under suspension, media reports state.

According to information from the Clay County Sheriff's Office website, Ginger was booked into the Clay County Jail Sunday at 5 p.m. by the Moorhead Police Department, and was still an inmate at the jail Monday evening at 5 p.m. It is unknown when Ginger will be extradited to North Dakota.
