Multiple news agencies are reporting that a 22-year-old man from Mooreton, N.D., was killed in a crash early Monday morning in Richland County.
The victim, who has yet to be named by the North Dakota Highway Patrol, was driving a Ford Mustang north on Richland County Road 1 about three miles west of Galchutt Monday morning, when his vehicle was struck by a Dodge Ram driven by Stephen Hutcherson of Walcott.
The Dodge Ram was driving south at the time, when he attempted to turn east on County Road 8 and struck the Mustang. The Mustang came to rest in a ditch, with the driver ejected. The driver of the Mustang, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was not wearing a seatbelt.
Hutcherson received medical attention but was not hospitalized, media reports state. The crash continues to be investigated by the Highway Patrol.
