Fugitives On The Loose After Escape, Injuring Authorities In Moorhead

 

Two fugitives are on the loose after a chase in Moorhead left multiple officers injured.

According to a release from the U.S. Marshals office, authorities were attempting to make an arrest in North Moorhead Monday afternoon when the pursuit began.

36-year-old Jesse Byzewski and 42-year-old Laura Lorsung, who are both wanted by law enforcement, took off in a vehicle and hit one officer and injured multiple others. After further crashing through fences and yards, Byzewski and Lorsung are still on the loose.

Authorities report the pair were in a maroon Mazda 6, with front-end damage and North Dakota license plates 346-BEJ.
