Wednesday is the day. President Donald Trump is set to speak on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Scheels Arena in Fargo. According to a press release from the Fargo Police Department, officials are advising the public to expect traffic delays in the late afternoon and early evening due to President Trump’s visit to Fargo. “We ask all metro residents to prepare for increased traffic with temporary street closures and delays in the areas between the airport and the Scheels Arena for President Trump’s motorcade,” the release said.

The Flag’s team will have wall-to-wall coverage, beginning with reports from The Flag’s Jacob Ambrose from 6 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. during the Need to Know Morning show with Steve Hallstrom, Alex Taylor and Kevin Flynn. Following that, Scott Hennen’s ‘Whats On Your Mind’ radio show will air LIVE from Scheels Arena, with Steve Hallstrom providing reports during the show. Starting at noon, reports at the top of the hour from in and around Scheels Arena will occur on AM 1100. The evening will start with a pre-rally show at 6 p.m. with Scott Hennen and Steve Hallstrom, leading up to President Trump’s speech, which will air LIVE on AM 1100 The Flag.
According to Hallstrom, the WZFG team is planning on providing a video stream of the event on its website. After President Trump’s speech, Hennen and Hallstrom will co-anchor a post-speech reaction show, visiting with local and statewide officials, getting reactions from them on the President’s visit.
