The North Dakota FFA Foundation (ND FFA Foundation) received a donation of $5,000 from TransCanada on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. The funds will be used to award community service grants to ND FFA chapters to conduct service projects throughout the state.  Since 2016, funds from the TransCanada Living to Serve Grants have helped FFA chapters conduct projects such as improvement of county fairgrounds and parks, construction of items to improve handicap accessibility and feed the hungry.

“We are very grateful to TransCanada for their commitment to community and grateful they have again chosen the ND FFA as a partner for projects that make such an impact in our communities. TransCanada has done more than donate money, they’ve created opportunities to expose members to the value of community and philanthropy,” says Tamra Maddock, ND FFA Foundation Director. Maddock says donations like these are instrumental in helping the FFA fulfill the FFA motto, Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.
