A crash Sunday afternoon in Grand Forks County has left two Grand Forks men injured.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, a 1995 Dodge Dakota, driven by 19-year-old Jacob Garceau, Grand Forks, was southbound on 9th Street Northeast, four miles east of Thompson, when lost control near the intersection of 9th Street Northeast and 6th Avenue Northeast.
The Dodge slid into the east ditch and onto a frozen creek, where it struck the bank, before coming to rest upright.
Garceau and his 16-year-old passenger were transported by ambulance to Altru with injuries.
Garceau was charged with care required.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
