Landfill to Close Today at Noon Due to High Winds

The Fargo Landfill, located at 4501 7th Avenue North, will be closing at 12 noon today, Thursday, December 27, at 12 noon due to the blizzard conditions.  Debris from trucks cannot be properly maintained during times of high winds and often blows away from the landfill.  The landfill is expected to reopen on Friday.  Residential garbage and recycling collections will continue as scheduled.
