One Business Fails Grand Forks PD Alcohol Compliance Check

 

The Grand Forks Police Department recently conducted alcohol compliance checks with the assistant of area youths on June 20. According to a press release from the Grand Forks Police Department, 14 businesses in the Grand Forks area were checked, and, out of the 14 businesses, one business failed. The business that failed was Applebee’s. The department conducts the compliance checks each year. The police department uses youth from the community who are under 21 years of age. The youth enter an alcohol establishment under the supervision of a police officer in accordance with city ordinance 21-0228. The youth attempts to purchase alcohol while in no way concealing their actual age.
