At 11:34 a.m. Monday, Fargo Police officers were dispatched to a three car crash with unknown injuries at 45th Street South and 23rd Avenue South.
A driver was traveling southbound on 45th Street South, and ran the red light at 23rd Avenue South, causing the vehicle traveling eastbound to crash into it, causing that vehicle to crash into a third.
The driver of the vehicle which ran the red light was cited for failure to disobey a traffic signal, a $20 fine.
One person, a passenger of the vehicle which ran the red light, was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
