Severe Storms Continue To Trek Through Region

 

Much of the Red River Valley is under a severe thunderstorm watch as folks begin to wake up this morning, according to the National Weather Service office in Grand Forks, until 8 o’clock this morning. The storms began to fire in the Devils Lake Basin at around 2:45 this morning, moving into the Red River Valley at just after 4 a.m. At 3:21 this morning, a weather report from four miles northwest of Cooperstown clocked a wind gust of 96 miles per hour. The Grand Forks International Airport clocked a wind gust of 76 miles per hour at 4:12 this morning.
