Fargo Public Library to Host Podcasting Events Jan. 16 and Jan. 22

The Fargo Public Library will host two podcasting events to help residents get informed about podcasting and how to find podcasts with their specific interests.

“Podcasting 101” will feature local comedian and radio host J.J. Gordon along with producer Tucker Lucas of the podcast “JJ Meets World” on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 6:30 p.m. at the Main Library. This event will be an overview of podcasting, including what makes a good podcast and the basic technical steps to start a podcast. No registration is required for this event.

“Podcast Lovers Unite” will be Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the Main Library. This event is for people who love podcasts and want to talk with other people who enjoy them. Those attending this event will learn what podcasting is and discover new podcasts to try, such as true crime, self-help, comedy or pop culture. This event is recommended for adults and registration is not required.
