Multiple injuries reported when a car and van collided near Mapleton on Thursday night.
The accident happened on County Road 15 south of Mapleton at around 9 p.m. Troopers say the driver of a car failed to yield at an intersection and was hit by a van carrying a high school girls basketball team from the Lisbon-Fort Ransom area. Both vehicles ended up in a ditch.
The car was driven by 23-year-old Levi Allmaras of West Fargo. He suffered a non-life-threatening injury.
His passenger is hospitalized in critical condition.
