Fargo Public Schools Hires Human Resources Director

Doug Andring has been named to the position of Director of Human Resources for Fargo Public Schools. Andring will assume this position on February 18. 

Andring is an alumnus of the University of Minnesota – Crookston and University of North Dakota with ten years of experience in the public education human resources sector.  He began his professional career in the retail industry with Marshall Fields and Old Navy, serving in operations, logistics, training and management positions.  For the last ten years, he has served as the Assistant Director of Human Resources and Affirmative Action Officer at Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State) in Moorhead, Minnesota.  In his position at M State, Andring oversees the functions of recruitment, selection, classification, labor relations and compensation for the college.  In addition, he assists in the development of policy and procedure.

Andring holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Marketing from the University of Minnesota – Crookston and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota.
