Fargo Police Warn Citizens of Felony Lane Gang

Over the last decade, the United States has been hit by a theft ring called Felony Lane Gang where suspects break into unattended vehicles in parking lots targeting purses containing cash, credit cards, checkbooks, and I.D.’s.  In January 2018, Fargo had at least 12 cases linked to this nationwide ring. While in Fargo, the suspects targeted fitness centers, daycares, movie theaters, sporting events, cemeteries, and parks. Seven arrests, including one juvenile, were made in connection to incidents from Florida to North Dakota. Recently, similar incidents have occurred elsewhere in North Dakota, and in the region. The Fargo Police Department would like to remind everyone to remove valuables from your vehicles when running errands, going to the gym or dropping your children off at daycare. If you are victim of a theft of this nature, please remember to cancel debit cards, credit cards and checks.
