REA to Give Away Money in Big Raffle

Those attending Saturday night’s UND hockey game at Ralph Engelstad Arena will be searching for more than one win on the evening.

Not only will they look for the Fighting Hawks to defeat St. Cloud State University, but one person will leave Ralph Engelstad Arena with more than just a UND win—they will walk out with cash.

R-E-A General Manager Jody Hodgson says one lucky person will leave R-E-A with at least $12,500. It’s via a $25,000 guarantee pot that the arena does as a part of the fan experience.

Hodgson says the 50-50 raffle will be done with their electronic system normally used.

Tickets will be sold at the arena starting at 6 p.m., and running until the ten minute mark of the third period.

Hodgson says the $12,500 is a minimum, and the pot will go as high as those buying want it to go.

The raffle will support the athletics department at UND.

Saturday’s game will start at 7:07 p.m. Tickets are still available, according to Hodgson.
