Local Business Running 44 Years Announces New Location in Downtown Fargo

The artwork of more than 12 Fargo-Moorhead artists on display at Gallery 4.   The store features original artwork of local artists and will open its new storefront at 115 Roberts Street in Downtown Fargo in March.

One of the longest-running artist cooperatives in the entire United States has been operating right here in Fargo, North Dakota.  Gallery 4, an organization made up of over 12 artists, will mark its 44th consecutive year in business this year.  Along with their milestone birthday, the business will move to its new location at 115 Roberts Street. The new gallery and Made In Fargo gift shop, located in the heart of Downtown Fargo, will be only steps away from its previous location and features a stage and small kitchen that will allow the business to host classes, performances and events geared around the work of their artists.

“This is an exciting space for us to be in,” says Dennis Krull, Gallery 4 President.  “Our new space is larger and its amenities will allow us to engage with our customers, tourists and the community in a really fun way.”

The collaboration of artists who make up Gallery 4 have been operating in Downtown Fargo’s Black Building for nearly 15 years, and remaining Downtown was an important factor in the Gallery’s search for a new home.

“We’ve been a business in the Downtown area for over 20 years,” says Scott Seiler, Gallery 4 Vice President.  “We are very excited to announce our new home and we’re excited to continue growing alongside Downtown Fargo.”

With the growth and expansion of our space comes the need for new artists who desire to be a part of this collaborative group,” says Krull.  “We are hoping to add more emerging and experienced artists to our group and we invite anyone interested to reach out and apply.”

An application to join Gallery 4 as a contributing artist can be found on the gallery’s website at Gallery4Fargo.net.  The gallery has tentatively set its grand opening in their new location on March 1st.
