Travel Alerts, Weather Advisories Issued

Another winter storm is headed to the region, and the National Weather Service, North Dakota Highway Patrol and North Dakota Department of Transportation have issued advisories.

The Red River Valley, from the Canadian border to the South Dakota border, is under a winter storm warning until noon on Monday. Snow accumulations of five to seven inches of snow, along with winds gusting as high as 35 miles per hour are expected.

The hazardous weather conditions have caused the North Dakota Highway Patrol and North Dakota Department of Transportation to issue travel alerts for north central, northeast and southeast North Dakota. The H-P and D-O-T says snow and blowing snow are creating slippery road conditions and areas of reduced visibility.
