Blizzard Warning Issued

 

The National Weather Service now has issued a blizzard warning for the region for portions of northwest and west central Minnesota and northeast and southeast North Dakota. 

The blizzard warning takes the place of the winter storm warning, and is in effect until 6 a.m. on Monday. The weather service says now up to seven inches of snow, wind gusts as high as 35 miles per hour and wind chills of 35 below zero are expected during the storm.

Following the blizzard warning will be a winter weather advisory until noon on Monday.
