Fargo, West Fargo Declare Emergency

 

The cities of Fargo and West Fargo have declared an emergency due to the extreme cold.

According to news releases from both cities, Fargo Mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney and West Fargo Mayor Bernie Dardis worked together to make the joint declaration on Tuesday afternoon.

For West Fargo, all non-emergency City offices and buildings will be closed beginning at 5:30 p.m. today and extending through tomorrow.

In Fargo, all non-emergency City offices and buildings will close at 6:30 p.m.

Snow plowing will continue and public safety agencies will continue to operate.
