Hornbacher’s has made a significant donation to the Great Plains Food Bank in Fargo.
Hornbacher’s, which is based in Fargo, donated $52,985 to the Great Plains Food Bank through the annual Feed Hope campaign.
The campaign, which ran in December 2018, collected customer donations at the cash registers of Hornbacher’s locations across the F-M Metro.
The donation, which will help children, families and seniors across North Dakota and western Minnesota, is enough to provide nearly 159,000 meals, the Great Plains Food Bank says.
C-E-O Steve Sellent says Great Plains serves more than 97,000 individuals each year.
