I-94 Crash Injures One

 

A two-vehicle crash on I-94 has injured one person Friday morning.

A 2012 Subaru Outback, driven by Maggie Stickney, of Dilworth, was east bound on I-94 in the left lane, traveling from Veteran's Boulevard to Dilworth.

A 2007 Pontiac G6, driven by Joseph Alameda, of Fargo, was merging onto I-94 east bound from 45th Street South.

Alameda was drivng too fast for the conditions, lost control and slid across I-94 eastbound directly in front of the 2012 Subaru. He was transported to Sanford Hospital for injuries.

Stickney and her 3 year old female passenger were uninjured.

Alameda was cited for Care Required.

The Highway Patrol extends a reminder to all drivers to reduce their speed and avoid accelerating rapidly when driving on snow covered roads, especially when negotiating curves, changing lanes and when driving over bridge decks.
