Interstate Closures

 

The latest round of winter weather is affecting travel this Saturday.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for much of North Dakota until 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, and a winter weather advisory for extreme northeastern and a part of north central North Dakota until 7 a.m. Sunday.

No travel advisories have been issued for southeast, south central and northeast North Dakota by the North Dakota Highway Patrol and North Dakota Department of Transportation.

In addition, a travel alert has been issued for central North Dakota.

Interstate 29, northbound and southbound, has been closed between Fargo and the South Dakota border. Information from the South Dakota Department of Transportation and South Dakota Highway Patrol also indicates that Interstate 29, northbound and southbound, between the South Dakota border and Watertown, has been closed as well.

Interstate 94, eastbound and westbound, between Bismarck and Fargo, has been closed as well, along with North Dakota Highway 13 between Interstate 29 and Wahpeton.
