No travel advised on Highway 10 in Clay County and portions of I-94

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has expanded the no travel advisory in west central Minnesota. Motorists are advised not to travel on Highway 10 from Moorhead to the Clay/Becker County line, and Interstate 94 from the Minnesota/North Dakota border to the Otter Tail/Grant County line.

The no travel advisory is also still in effect for the following state and federal highways in Traverse, Wilkin and Big Stone counties:

· Highway 210 from Breckenridge to Fergus Falls

· Highway 9 from Breckenridge to Morris

· Highway 75 from Highway 9 near Doran to Ortonville

· Highway 55 from state line to Highway 9

· Highway 27 from Browns Valley to Highway 9 near Herman

· Highway 28 from Browns Valley to Morris

· Highway 7 from Highway 28 near Beardsley to Ortonville

Heavy snow and high winds are creating dangerous driving conditions. Snowplows continue to operate, but motorists are advised not to travel in these areas until conditions improve.
